Making a hand made soap is a real fun activity and with few essential tools and material you can create your own soap in a few easy steps. Here we will give you information on making soap at your home following a few simple instructions.

For making soap keep all the tools and required material ready at your hand. As the cold process is getting more popular we will discuss the said process only which is easy to handle. Now follow these steps to make a hand made soap in your home.

Step #1
Take the soap base (which is readily available in the market) which you will need to melt in the microwave or in the broiler. If you have decided for a microwave make sure to cover the bowl you are using with a wrap so that excess moisture doesn’t evaporate from the melt. Melt the base for a minute or so and stir to melt the solid remaining pieces if any.

Step#2
Once the base is completely melted you can add the fragrance, oils and other elements you want to add to the mixture. Stir the mixture well so that everything gets blended properly. Also add essential oils to this mixture.

Step#3
When the base is melting you can add coloring to it, to give your soap an exciting color. You can put in some mica in the melt but remember to spray and mica bubbles from the top of the soap. To add food coloring to the soap add only one drop at a time to have the desired coloring effect.

Step#4
Make sure that you stir properly and the mixture is properly blended. Now pour this mixture into the molds of desired shape and spray the top of the soap with rubbing alcohol to get rid of any excess bubbles.

Step#5
Before using it, ensure that the soap has hardened. Let it be in the mold for a proper time and it will harden the soap to a proper level.

In such few steps you can have a hand made soap to use.
