Making soap at home is not so tedious process and the various natural oils will help you to create variety of soaps. The essential oils have curative powers, effective for skin and provide long-lasting freshness. The true essential oils are expensive. You have to pay exorbitant prices for a considerably small bottle. But it is always advisable to buy these for soap making for their medicinal properties and if stored properly can be used for longer period.

If you feel like having a good and delightful fragrance in your soap you can use lavender which is somewhat herbaceous and somewhat floral and is known for its relaxing and calming properties   The fats like coconut oil, palm and olive oil can be used conveniently for soap making. Aloe Vera, shea butter & hemp oil will work as moisturizers for making soaps.

If you want you can include any botanicals or butter in your soap like walnut husk, shea butter, cocoa butter exfoliate, lavender flower etc. If you want to avoid chemicals in your soap you can do this by adding natural preservatives like rosemary oil instead of parabens (chemical preservatives)
